We Financed a 2 Month old Teacup Yorkie puppy “Brodi” We really like him to death….But after about two weeks of having him, He created a Prolapsed Rectum ( that’s when the inside of his rectum falls out of his body). We took him to the Vet that Petland recommends (Petland didn’t want to cover it) but the Vet produced them anyway. Had to stay with the vet for 4 days for minor surgery. We took him home, he had to where a cone for about 10 days….7 days into it, the Prolapse happened again. We took him back to the Vet…left him there for an additional three days for surgery…took him home and two weeks later it happened once again. (Brodi is only four Months old, and has had 3 surgeries) as of now hes at the Vets for “Major” surgery. they wanted to maintain him for 7 days. I was supposed to pick him up at the Vets yesterday, but got a phone call saying that he prolapsed again and he going back into surgery (four) and they don’t know when he can go home. See, I haven’t had any time with him. Not to mention that its a fairly lengthy drive to that particular Vet office and I cant afford the gas) The Vet advised me to call Petland and let them know whats going on. I called and spoke to the Owner and she rerefuseso take into consideration anything that I said. My questions exactly where: Q: After the six months of totally free Vet Appt…what do I do?
